Sophie CassonSophie’s studio window looks out at a very busy urban street corner that faces a subway entrance, lofts, taxi parking and an Indian restaurant.  Her inspiration comes from various street art forms: graffiti, stencil art, underground posters, but also Polish posters and post-war prints. Sophie has a bachelor’s degree in graphic design, and has been a professional illustrator for 13 years. She has won numerous illustration awards from Communication Arts, Applied Arts, SILA, Society of Publication designers, CAPIC, Mr. Christie’s Silver award, Lux and 3X3 Proshow. She practices yoga, kayaking and indoor climbing in everyone’s best interest.

Sophie is at present a weekly contributor with the Financial Times of London.
