Szachowska, Joanna

Born in 1970, Joanna lives near Warsaw next to a forest, with her husband Arthur (a photographer) and her 17 year old daughter Diana (already an artist). She started her career in the beginning of 1997 with the first of many individual exhibitions of acrylic paintings. She has published in editorial illustrations for both Polish and international magazines (The New York Times USA, The Patent Office UK, BC Business Magazine Canada, Style Magazine USA, American Lawyer USA, Element Magazine Canada, Pressley Jacobs Canada etc.) Since then she has worked for both advertising and editorial clients, creating many visuals for magazines, promo materials, calendars and books.
